Who should I contact if I have questions about the speaker submission process?

No, the submission must be completed by the person interested in speaking.
Can technology solution or service providers present at Gartner conferences?
To maintain Gartner's neutrality, speakers from the vendor community are very rarely accepted for main agenda sessions, but we do offer special speaking times as part of our sponsorship packages. There are limited exceptions with formats. To learn more about our sponsorship opportunities, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can a technology solution or service provider accompany me on stage?
Case studies are delivered by end-user company representatives who may not share the stage with technology solution or service providers. End-user speakers may discuss their requirements, selection criteria, product choices and deployment experiences with the audience.
Is there a deadline?
We take submissions any time but tend to make decisions 16 weeks prior to the conference.
Are your sessions recorded?
The audio of the sessions presented by Gartner analysts are recorded and accessible through the Conference Navigator mobile app. Audio of sessions presented by non-Gartner speakers may be included with the permission of those speakers.
Do you have guidelines for speakers?
We expect speakers to:
- Commit to presenting, as this is an individual opportunity
- Not pitch products, services or books or request funding
- Avoid political agendas
- Present in a professional manner
What is the required length of stay for conference speakers?
The speaker will receive a complimentary pass to the conference that is non-transferable. We welcome the speaker to stay for the duration of the conference and take advantage of other education sessions. If the speaker is unable to attend the entire conference, we do expect them to arrive the day prior to their session and they can leave immediately following their commitment.
What is the dress code for speakers?
Speakers should dress professionally to represent their organisation and culture. Professional business attire or the more relaxed “business casual” dress code is acceptable; a jacket is preferred. Please consider the expectations of the audience you are addressing when making your final wardrobe decision. The dress code for conference attendees is business casual.
Do I need to sign a copyright release form?
Yes. If you are selected as a speaker, you will be required to sign the consent and release form before presenting.
What other materials will I be asked to provide?
Upon acceptance, our speaker management team will be in touch to acquire your biography, high-resolution photo, full contact information and release form. This information is critical to promote your session on our agenda and in marketing materials.
